James Anderson has expressed his disappointment at the way the English Test summer finished. The fifth and final fixture against India was due to take place at Old Trafford, but was cancelled just hours before the scheduled beginning of day one on Friday due to positive COVID-19 cases in the India camp causing some concern amongst the players. Anderson, 39, was due to appear at his home ground, where a stand is named after him, and many felt it could have been his last opportunity to do so in England whites.
“I hope I will get to play another international game at my home ground that I love so much”
