There was a heartwarming moment in Ireland’s third One Day International against Zimbabwe on Monday, as Brendan Taylor received a guard of honour from the home side before batting for his country for the final time. The wicket-keeper is a true legend of Zimbabwean cricket, playing 34 Test matches, 204 ODIs and 45 Twenty20 Internationals. The opener unfortunately fell for 7 off 12 deliveries as Zimbabwe stuttered to 17/2 off seven overs. The game was shortened to 42 overs a side due to a delay, the series standing at 1-0 to the visitors.
A wonderful moment as Brendan Taylor walks out to bat for Zimbabwe for the last time.
