(Video) Pakistan train ahead of newly bilateral New Zealand series

Pakistan men were filmed honing their skills in training ahead of their ODI series against New Zealand, beginning on September 17. Talk of the series hit the back pages on Saturday afternoon after it was revealed that it will not form part of the ICC World Cup Super League, as reported by ESPN Cricinfo.

It will, rather, represent a standalone, bilateral three-match series due to the lack of availability of the Decision Review System, as agreed by the boards of both sides. It is understood that New Zealand were not keen on playing such an important series without the influence of technology, perhaps also pushed by the absence of some of their start players, heading instead to the IPL in the UAE which resumes on September 19.
