There are just ten days to go now until Australia’s women return to cricketing action, playing India in the Commonwealth Bank, all-format series beginning on September 21. The fixtures will see the re-emergence of Ellyse Perry, the all-rounder who has dominated all forms of the game for over a decade. Perry missed out on playing a no-doubt influential part in Australia’s 2020 T20 World Cup campaign at home, injuring her hamstring and finding herself ruled out of the competition’s latter stages. Excitement will be brewing to see the player who has defined an era return to the international fold.
