William Porterfield is in sparkling white-ball form, and hit his third One Day International half century in a row on Friday afternoon for Ireland against Zimbabwe. Porterfield was to eventually fall for 67 off 100 balls, but produced some excellent shots including seven 4s and one huge 6. His last three knocks in fifty over cricket read as 63, 75 and 67, the opener and former captain providing his country, alongside the ever-classy Paul Stirling, with some effective platforms. Ireland trail the 3-match series 1-0 to the visitors.
