Riding on Lendl Simmons’ quickfire 70, Trinbago Knight Riders hopped back into the top four standings of the Caribbean Premier League with a seven-wicket win over Jamaica Tallawahs.
TKR gunned down the requisite of 145 thanks to a freewheeling102-run partnership between Simmons and Colin Munro.
Earlier, the livewire that is Simmons also made his presence felt in the field, grasping three catches to keep a tight lid on the Tallahwas, who are dwelling at the bottom of the table alongside Barbados Royals.
