(Video) Tom Abell struggles to put his finger on Somerset woes

In an interview with BBC Radio Somerset on Monday evening, Somerset captain Tom Abell was visibly dejected after his side lost their second successive County Championship game by an innings, this time folding to Yorkshire inside two days. Abell suggested the players’ skill level was “not up to it” at the moment after they were bowled out for 134 and then 141 either side of Yorkshire’s sole total of 308 all out.

It was the in-form Matthew Fisher who did the damage with the ball, taking the best match figures of his career as his four second-innings scalps partnered the five he took in the visitors’ first dig. Harry Brook starred with the bat, hitting 118 to earn his fourth first-class century for Yorkshire.
