In a light-hearted interview on the BCCI’s Twitter account after day three at the Oval, Rohit Sharma and Cheteshwar Pujara reflected on a successful day for Team India. Speaking of his wonderful maiden overseas Test century, Rohit attempted to play down the significance of similar milestones, suggesting his focus remains on the here and now when it comes to batting. Pujara was clearly grateful for Rohit’s exploits on Saturday, thanking his opener for providing the excellent start that gave him license to play his shots.
