Ajinkya Rahane, under some considerable pressure given his recent struggles and those of India’s middle order as a whole, failed to silence the doubters as he fell for 14 to Craig Overton in the first innings against England at the Oval. Having bowled a little too full after lunch, England drew their lengths back a little and quickly reaped the rewards. Rahane’s wicket was a little controversial, with some suggesting – many of them India fans – that the ball had been grounded by Moeen Ali as he went to catch it. In real time and to the naked eye, the take seemed a clean one.
Brilliant catch! ðŸ‘
