South African dasher Mignon du Preez returned to the Melbourne Stars in the third edition of the Women’s Big Bash League after playing with the club as a foundation player. She took the field in all 14 matches for the Stars in WBBL 04 and concluded with 266 runs under her belt, making her our second-highest run scorer behind Lizelle Lee. The Protean will bring a wealth of experience to her new franchise, Hobart Hurricanes, in the seventh season of the tournament kicking off on 14 October.
