The fulcrum of Ireland’s batting unit, Paul Stirling rustled up his maiden T20I hundred in the third match against Zimbabwe. Eight boundaries and as many sixes concocted his pyrotechnics with the strike rate hovering a notch above 150. Thanks to Sterling’s onslaught, Ireland posted a formidable 178 that is proving to be a climb too steep for the visitors. Zimbabwe lost half their side for 84 midway through the chase and it is a foregone conclusion that Sterling’s efforts won’t go in vain.
A special moment in a special innings by a special player 👏
