Washington Sundar, the Indian all-rounder who plays for Royal Challengers Bangalore, will take no part in the rest of this year’s IPL, set to take place in the UAE, due to a finger injury, as per ESPNcricinfo.
He will be replaced by the prolific RCB net bowler Akash Deep, who took seven wickets in five matches in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for Bengal. At 24, RCB have cited their continuing ability to provide a route for young, promising cricketers into their first team and the grand stage of the IPL.

Having made his T20 debut as a 17 year old in the IPL, RCB will be losing the incredible talent that Sundar, now 21 and with a cricketing maturity well beyond his years, possesses with both bat and ball, but will be excited to improve their strength in depth as they look to unearth fresh talent.
