Australia’s Alex Carey has a demeanour as cool as a cucumber and it reflects in his proficient wicketkeeping. While his collection behind the sticks is beyond good, the stumper rarely puts down a steepler. Ashton Turner saw merit in ramping the express Billy Stanlake over fine leg but was outsmarted by the lack of pace as he managed a feeble connection. Carey sprinted all the way down to fine leg before leaping full-extension to snare a blinder.
Alex Carey turns 30 today!
He’s done some brilliant things with the gloves in the @BBL – which you can see right here #BBL11
