Will Smeed demonstrated his considerable talent in the inaugural Hundred season for the Birmingham Phoenix earlier this month, and his star continues to shine in the T20 Blast. During Somerset’s victory over Lancashire by seven wickets in their quarter-final at Taunton, Smeed smashed 44 with his now customary ruthlessness. He was joined, and even outshone, by the incredible hitting of Tom Abell, whose 78 not out took the home side comfortably over the target of 185 set by Lancs.
How far has that gone?!
