West Indies’ Women are set to cross swords with South Africa Women in the first T20I on 31 August at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua. Preparations are going strong for the slam-bam affair which will be followed by a couple of more T20Is and five one-day clashes. When the two teams last met, West Indies won both the limited-overs series and will use the ODIs against South Africa as a breeding ground for the Qualifiers in their bid to seal a berth in the ICC Women’s World Cup in New Zealand next year.
