Tim David has been acquired by Royal Challengers Bangalore alongside Sri Lanka’s spin sensation Wanindu Hasaranga and fast bowler Dushmantha Chameera. David, who represents Singapore, has carved a niche for himself as a power-hitter playing in the franchise leagues around the world.
The 25-year-old has amassed 1171 runs in 49 T20 matches, averaging a healthy 36.59. Though, more importantly, his strike rate reads a nifty 155.09. In 14 T20Is for Singapore, the right-hander averages 46.50, while striking at 158.52.
